Tales From 2nd Street
A good story lures then captivates us with elements of Conflict, Struggle and Resolution. We want to know what happened, how it happened and how it was resolved. It could be "ripped from the headlines," or something that Uncle Al told us at the dinner table on Thanksgiving. "TALES" will present vignettes from the lives of ordinary people as well as original tales of fiction. Let us know what you think about our work. Contact us at: dougs2ndst@gmail.com. Remembering the things we did as kids often makes me smile but also leaves me shuddering and thanking my lucky stars. It's hard to imagine back in those years, that like Billy, the star of our show, I was one of the thousands of kids, roaming the streets of Philly while our parents worked. Our parents, for the most part, had no idea of what we did during those unsupervised, unscripted days, except if we got into trouble. How did we survive? Here's more reminiscences from the Billy Chronicles. Enjoy.
